Audrey Barker

Audrey joined Argo Translation in 2021 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an MA in Translation Studies. She earned her BA in French with a minor in English Literature from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2010, she had the chance to study abroad in Angers, France, where she attempted to try every French cheese and put her problem-solving skills to task when the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted in the middle of spring break. Since then, she has broken into the translation industry as a project manager and has completed volunteer translation work for a French environmental non-profit.

Working remotely from Milwaukee, Audrey enjoys the variety project management brings to her day and appreciates playing a role in the process of intercultural communication. In her spare time, she likes to run, read, and watch B horror movies.
